The agony...
In a shaded valley shrouded by monoliths of stone, Bloodclan flourishes in tyranny and bloodshed, torturing captives while planning their next attack upon innocents.

Equine Island was a green and growing sanctum of rainforest and jungle. Covered with different terrain -- flatlands, plains, rivers, forest, density, and surrounded by oceans. The pride of the island exists in its waterfalls, which billow down like curtains of wild beauty. But the inhabitants are the true story. Equines (horses) have escaped and endured upon the island since their first ancestor, Velournne, created the island. Velournne is the true legend, and is treated as a goddess, even upon her death which was hundreds of years ago. Velournne, before her death, had cast the island with a special division. The division between three sides -- Mortal, Immortal, and Elemental. The mortals have warred constantly, and true peace has yet to have been found. Only four surviving herds have risen from the ash of destruction in the mortal lands -- Light, Dark, Peace, and Rebellion. The threads of trust and life are tangled for these clans. The Immortals, endowed with strange abilities and usually the ghosts and spirits of the island, are residing in an eerie peace of non-existence. There are times, though, when the ghosts and spirits may interact with the mortals, but it is quite rare. Then finally, the Elementals. The Elementals are probably the most peculiar and powerful of all, and they, on their special side on the island, 'cross the gap, cannot be found by mortals or Immortals. They control and bend the very materials of element -- Flame, Aqua, Lightning, Earth, and Air. Although life is not strained for the Elementals, the brutal Lightning equines pose a threat in the near future. There are so many paths, adventures, destinies, and lives on the island of equines. What path will you take, and what destiny will you choose? Will the existence be ripped apart, or will the legend live on?

NeverDieDogs.proboards.com Staff needed! N-DieD is a semi-fantasy Dog Roleplay Forum that is being developed and needs some work. Anyone who may be interested in helping make the site, like creating a species of their own or area's is welcome to join now and contribute. 83 Anyone who does will be granted staff status. We Need: A Graphics artist who can make banners/background images(animations would be nice too :3), someone who is good at HTML/page layout/coding and anyone with good ideas ;3
Come on in to N-DieD, a ghostly place far from the reaches of any humea settlements. You may find this place has an unusual name, yes? But this name holds great meaning to us. It is short for 'Never Die Dogs'. Strange, yes, but we have a reason for this name. It is here that 'we' reside. After all, the Humea are long gone from here. Only their broken structures remain. Now their is only us. They reside far on the other side of World's Scar and the Nebulous Sea. Now we are free to live here. But who are 'we', you ask? Well that depends... there are many of us, and we go by different names. Some of us are the Rethra, the powerful, intelligent ones. The succesors to the humea in mind and strength. Then there are Anai, those we Rethra once were. The less intelligent savages who call out in the night and run on the thirst for blood and death. Or perhaps you mean the Lashaundr, those once like us but now no more than shadows of what once was. Those taken by battle or disease. So which one are you, or perhaps, do you even know?
Following the creation of synthetic blood, vampires have progressed from legendary monsters to fellow citizens overnight, in the small Louisiana town of Bon Temps. Bill Compton has just saved Sookie Stackhouse’s life. Jason is caught up with the law and women. There are murders happening around town, and of course vampires are blamed. The infamous V is being sold now and everyone wants their hands on some.

Appearance: Eye Color: Gold Fur Color: Mahogany, white/cream, Gold Markings: White muzzle, cheeks, white eye-spots, white neck, underbelly, tail underside, and legs at elbow and haunches, white tail-tip. Mahogany fur along the back, head, tail where white colors aren't, also seperating the white of the neck and underbelly. Faded gold zig-zag tiger stripes along the back, tail, and forehead. Scars: Diagonal scar along the face/between the eyes, several scars along the hackle's, neck, and back. Long pair of scars along the right haunch/thigh. Wolf Characteristics: Longer fur along the underbelly. Long square muzzle and short round-point ears. Kai-Ken Characteristics: Wedge-shaped head, 'sickle' position tail, powerful shoulders and legs. Build: Lithe but well-muscled and powerful Accesories: None
Power: Element: Earth Power specifics: Can 'phase' into natural objects like soil, trees, rocks, etc. Cannot phase through water, or turn invisible. Cannot control objects he phases into.
Personal Bio: Personality: Cold and distant, hot-headed, mean-tempered, likes fighting, trusts few. History: When he was born, he had two siblings who died at birth. He was left with only his mother as family, and never met his father. At three months his mother was killed by a roving group of dogs, leaving him to fend for himself. He learned to survive by trusting no one and learning to fight well, earning many battle scars and earning a reputation for himself quickly.(Sorry, not a very detailed profile but I'll probably add on more a few months into roleplaying or something. It's 98 degrees here in frickin Washington state and I am just dying D;)

Fifty years ago humans inhabited the Island the dogs know as Cali Island. Everything ran smoothly and tourists came to scuba dive and such. Fifty years ago, is when the hurricane struck the island and ruined it. The people were rushed to be evacuated at the last minute. The hurricane struck with little to no notice. Its eye was aimed directly at the island. People left with injuries and terror filled memories. It wasn't only the people that had it bad though. The animals suffered because the humans were to careless to take them too. Many pets were left to fend on their own.
The waves crashed with tremendous force, which is why the sands are now white. A ship was only cruising past Cali to carry its cargo to a nearby island when the storm struck. Many dogs lived on deck to help the sailors with some of their tasks. They were also the cargo. Dogs were becoming valuable north and south and many breeds were being shipped off to be working dogs. They were treated savagely at times. The ship was pulled in by the eyes of the storm and was smashed against the shore. The humans lived only a short while for they dyed of blood loss and starvation shortly after the hurricane passed. The dogs had scrambled up the shore and survived though! They thrived on the forest for a long time.
Soon some dogs saw it better to goto the small city on the island and make shelter of its remains. The other dogs cursed and rejected the dogs that left. They believed the the forest was the only way to thrive and wanted nothing more, especially not some filthy human place. The Northern Pack, or the city pack, was just as angered by the Southern Pack's "savage" behavior. They both thought they were right and were sworn enemies. The Northern Pack was in shambles when the humans came back to try and rebuild the city though. The Southern Pack offered them no shelter and drove out or killed any Northerners on their land. The humans eventually gave up on their work and this made the Southern Pack more driven to eliminate the "city hounds."
The Southern Pack was in peril too however. Shortly after the humans left another small pack of dogs appeared. They had lived their before the hurricane and used to be strays in the city. During teh time after the storm they hid away to learn more about the quarreling packs. These dogs were Caribs, or the cannibal pack. They are emerging now and growing stronger every passing day. The Southern dogs were their main target but they are now venturing towards the Northern territory. Both packs have two choices. Will you ally yourself with the savage dogs or will you die by fighting them?

Once again, the human race has done itself in, leaving the world to the animals. But there are three reigning species, the ones that rise above the rest. Wolves, hybrids, and feral dogs. They all hold memories of the two-legged, but slowly those memories are sliding away, causing the canines to get wilder and less-domestic everyday. Some have joined forces and have formed packs, to create order in the now chaotic world, while others would rather stay on their own. But in this world, it doesn't work that way. In order to live, you can't fend for yourself. You need to depend on others and work together, toward a common goal.
And that goal, would be survival.
So will you join a pack and work together to live? Or will you try and fend on your own. The choice is yours...

STANLEY ACADEMY FOR THE ARTS: ONE OF THE NATION'S FINEST AND MOST PRESTIGIOUS EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTES. ITS STUDENTS GO ON TO BECOME WORLD-RENOWNED INSIDE THE ART WORLD. A MENTION OF THIS SCHOOL ON ONE'S RESUME CAN DEFINITELY CATCH THE EYES OF EMPLOYERS. ALTHOUGH THEY OFFER SCHOLARSHIPS TO THE VERY BEST AND MOST GIFT ED, IT IS STILL INSANELY DIFFICULT TO BE ADMITTED TO THE SCHOOL REGARDLESS OF EC ONOMIC CLASS, AND FOR THOSE WHO MUST APPLY FOR THOSE SCHOLARSHIPS, IT CAN BE EVEN MORE OF A CHALLENGE TO MAKE IT THERE. KIDS ARE CRUEL, AFTER ALL. WHEN YOU ARE SURROUNDED BY RICH KIDS, ARTSY OR NOT, YOU MIGHT FIND YOURSELF SUBJECT TO A BIT OF RIDICULE IF YOU'RE OUT OF PLACE—AND YOU WILL KNOW IF YOU ARE THERE.
THINGS AREN'T SO PEACHY RIGHT NOW WITHIN STANLEY'S WALLS. WHY, YOU ASK? WELL, YOU SEE, OVER THE SUMMER A BODY WAS DISCOVERED ON CAMPUS. ACTUALLY, MULTIPLE BODIES, THROUGHOUT THE THREE MONTHS STUDENTS WERE OFF GROUNDS. NATURALLY THE VICTIMS WERE NOT STUDENTS THEMSELVES, THOUGH THE FACT THAT THE SCHOOL CAME TO BE THEIR RESTING PLACE DID NOT SIT WELL WITH SEVERAL PEOPLE, AS YOU CAN IMAGINE. THEY HAD NO CONNECTION TO STANLEY, BUT THEY HAD ONE TO EACH OTHER BEYOND BEING DUMPED THERE. THEY WERE EACH STABBED SEVEN TIMES, AS WELL AS A SLASH ACROSS THE THROAT. THE KILLER REMAINS AT LARGE. WITH THE UPCOMING YEAR GROWING CLOSER AND CLOSER, PARENTS ARE CONCERNED. SOME HAVE CHOSEN TO WITH DRAW THEIR CHILDREN FROM STANLEY. OTHERS ARE CONFIDENT IN THE AUTHORITIES. THE SCHOOL HAS SEEN A SIGNIFICANT DROP IN ENROLLMENT NUMBERS THIS YEAR, AND TO REASSURE THE PUBLIC THEY HAVE IMPLEMENTED SEVERAL NEW SECURITY MEASURES. THE STUDENTS OF STANLEY ACADEMY ARE AS SAFE AS CAN BE, OR AT LEAST THAT'S WHAT THEY'RE SAYING. BUT ARE THEY REALLY? ARE THINGS REALLY THAT HELD TOGETHER?
